Nat Ma Taung National Park
Mount Victoria (also known as Nat Ma Taung and Khaw Nu M’zung in Chin language) is the highest mountain in Chin State of Myanmar and part of the chin hill range. The peak is 10500 ft (3025 m) above sea level and one of the highest clay mountain in South-East Asia. The national park comprises hill evergreen forest, pine forest and mountain savanna. The park’s endemic White-browed Nuthatch only exists in the park’s habitats of Pine, Oak, Oak-rhododendron forests. Mount Victoria is one of the best bird watching place in Myanmar with endemics, near endemic and numerous species: White-browed Nuthatch, Burmese Tit, Chin Hills Wren-babbler, Mount Victoria Babax, Brown-capped Laughingthrush, Assam Laughingthrush, Striped Laughingthrush, Green Shrike-babbler, White-browed Fulvetta, Yellow-breasted Greenfinch, Great Barbet, Golden-throated Barbet, Slender-billed Oriole, Maroon Oriole, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Green-backed, Yellow-cheeked, Black-throated, Yellow-browed Tits, Crested Finchbill, Striated, Himalayan Black, Black-crested, Flavescent, Mountain Bulbuls, Grey-headed Canary-flycatcher, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Green-backed, Yellow-cheeked, Black-throated, Yellow-browed Tits, Crested Finchbill, Striated, Himalayan Black, Black-crested, Flavescent, Mountain Bulbuls, Sliver-eared Mesia, Rusty-fronted and Streak-throated Barwing, Striated Prinia.
