Short Trip for Endemic to Myanmar Species And Nat Ma Taung National Park(Mt.Victoria)

Yagon -Bagan- Nat Ma Taung National Park(Mt.Victoria) –Mt.Popa -Inle Lake –Klaw- Yae Aye Kan Reserve Area-Yangon

Day 1. Yangon Arrival & Sight Seeing at Yangon

Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, RMT representative and your RMT guide will welcome and transfer you to your hotel. If you have time, you will have birding in Yangon.

Day2.Fly to Nyaung U ( Bagan) & Bagan Birding

Leave hotel early in the morning for airport around 5:00am and fly to Nyaung U (Bagan). After check-in to the hotel full day birding in Bagan. We will try(4)species of  Myanmar Endemic  birds Burmese Bushlark, Jerdon’s Minivet  (White-bellied  Minivet ) ,White-throtted Babber  and Vinous-breasted Myna(Starling) ,Plain-backe Sparrow ,Rain Quail,Spottefd Owlet ,Eurasian Collared Doves,Yello –eyed Babbler and any other wintering visitor bird species such as Siberian Rubythroat ,Yello-streaked Warbler, Dusky Warbler   ,Eurasian Wryneck ,Taiga Flycatcher(Red –hroate Fly catcher ) and any other species.

Day 3. Bagan-Kanpatlat

After breakfast we will drive to Kanpelet (Mt.Victoria ) we will cross the Chuk Township which one of the Natural  Oil Field Area .After that we will pass the Ayeyarwaddy River Bridge about to hour drive later .We will start the bird watching we will be try Hooded Treepie  ,Long –billed Pipit ,Whitr-eyed Buzzard and near endemic and very rare bird White-rumped Falcon,Alexandrine ,Rose-ringed,Grey-headed ,Red –breasted,Blossom –headed Parakeets. Small ,Rosy ,Scarlet Minivets ,Indochinese Cuckooshrike,Red –headed Trogon,Velvet Fronted ,Negleced (Split from hestnut-bellied) Nuhatch and any other  species fter that we will  continue  drive to Kanpetlet.We nee to arrive to there around about 5 pm.Ater that we check in to Pine Wood Villa Resort.

Day4. Kanpalat Birding

We will bird four full days at Mt.Victoria (Natmataung National Park) which is located at Western Myanmar and  also remain at Eastern Himalayan region .We can try in this area is a major focal point of the birding tour It holds a great variety  of Eastern Himalayan birds speeches ,near endemic bird species and Myanmar endemic bird species. Early morning we drive up from Hotel to Birding point about one hour high area  altitude is between 7,500 ft –(nearly 9,000ft above Sea level ) we call us ten miles camp .The habitat type of Mt.Victoria is charactered by pine,oak,rhododendron and evergreen forest with shot grassland. This area we can able to see two Myanmar Endemic species .They are White-browned Nuthatchand, Burmese Tits.(Split from Black-browned) and nearly Myanmar near-endemic birds My.Victoria Babax (split from Chinese Babax),Chin Hills Wren Babbler( split from Long –tiled –Wren Babbler ) ,Hill Partridge ,Blyth’s Trangopan ,Brown-capped Laughingthrsh  ,Yello-billed Blue Magpie,White-browed Fulvetta ,Spot-breaste Parrtobill  ,Fire –riled Sunbird and any other species.

In this day we will be birding the whole day .We will carry pax lunch and coffee  .We drive back to Hotel about 5 pm.Dinner at Hotel and over night at Hotel.

Day5. Kanpalat Birding

We weak up very early morning and after breakfast we will drive to starting point of Natmataung National Park.We will birding at  the lower altitude of mountain  has deciduoud froests.Here we can see Myanmar near –endemic Stripe Laughingtrush,Blue-winged Laughingtrush ,Crimson-faced-Liocchla (split from Red –faced).White –browned, Spot –breasted, Streak –breasted Scimitar –Babbler ,Sriated Prinia ,Sliver-eared Mesia ,Rusty –capped and Nepal,Fulvettas ,Spotted ,  Chon Hill ( split from Long –tailed ) Wren Babblers,Green tailed and MrsGould’s Sunbirds,Yello –breasted Greenfinch and many other species.At this day we will go back to resort for lunch and we will rest about to hours at your hotel ,After that we will continue bird watching until 6 pm.We will try    in this day Hodgason’s Forgmouth and any other Owls .Dinner at your hotel .

You will have the whole day birding at Kanpalat.

Day6.Kanpalat –Bagan

In the early morning drive back to Bagan, On the way we will stop about 2 or 3 places for birding watching .We can able to see Grey-capped Pygmy, White-bellied ,Gray-headed Woodpecker ,Greater ,Lesser Yellownape ,Huimalayan,Common,Greater Flameback,Minvets,Orioles ,Bulbuls,Yellow –vented ,Scarle-backed Flowerpeckers  , any other Leafbirds and Repters .We will be lunch on the way and we will arrive to Bagan about 5 or 6 o’clock.

Day7. Bagan-Mt.Popa-Bagan Birding

Drive to Mt .Popa after breakfast .Full day birding at Mt.Popa .We will try one of best bird for Mt.Popa.One of the Endemic Myanmar Bird Hooded Treepie and any other bird Green –billed Malkoha, Rufous Treepie,Whie –throated Fantail,Darian Redstart,hestnut –flanked and Oriental White-eyes ,Lesser Necklaced Laughinghrush and many other species .We will try the whole day. Driver back to Bagan and sight seeing at Bagan.

Day8. Bagan-Heho- Inle

After check out from your hotel and drive to Nyaung U Airport and fly to Heho.And drive to Nyaung Shwe and boat transfer to Inle Lake. We able to see rare Jerdon’s Bushchat, Collared Myna, Striated Babbler,  Blue –eared Kingfisher, very rare Sarus Crane ,Jungle,Wgite-vented,Collered  Mynas ,Water birds  and any other winter visitor birds.Driveback to Inle Lake by boat .

Day9. Inle Lake-Klaw : Inle Lake Morning Birding /Kalaw Birding

After breakfast we will have Bird watching just morning time at Inle Lake about 12 noon we drive back to Nyaung Shwe by boat and lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we will drive to Kalaw about 2 hour’s .When we arrive to Kalaw, we will check in to hotel and bird watching about 2 or 3 hour’s .We will have dinner at Restaurant.

After breakfast and you will have Birding at Inle Lake in the morning and then drive to Kalaw .You will have Kalaw Birding.

Day10.Kalaw Birding

After breakfast we will drive to Yae Aye Kan Area and we will start birding we can ale to see near-endemic  birds Burmese-Yuhina ,Indochinese Cuckooshrike ,Dark-backed Sibia ,Rusty-cheeked ,White-browed Scimitar Babblers,Soty-headed ,Brown-breasted ,Ashy, Black Bulbuls ,Sliver-breasted and Long-tailed Broabills,White –crowned ,Black-backed Forktails, White-capped Water Redstard,Warblers and any other species. We will drive back to hotel and dinner at hotel.

Day11. Kalaw-Heho –Yangon

After breakfast we will drive to Heho Airport about an hour. Fly to Yangon Airport and we will check in your hotel and we will have sight seeing and bird watching around Yangon Area.

Day12.Departure from Yangon

Drive to Yangon International Airport.
